Before I begin with my review, for those of you who don’t know, Beachbody launched a new workout program called BODY BEAST that focuses on gaining mass and building muscle! The workout is lead by two-time Mr. Israel and fitness expert Sagi Kalev. Sagi is a professional body builder and definitely knows what it takes to build a BEAST body. If you are looking to add some serious mass, then BODY BEAST is the right workout for you!
BODY BEAST – Build Legs Review
Holy smokes, my legs are STILL shaking 24 hours after the workout! Legs are my weakness, but after this program, I have a feeling they won’t be anymore. I have done some serious leg workout routines in my day, especially when I played high school football and college baseball, however, BODY BEAST is something else.
You started off the BODY BEAST leg workout with Sumo Squats, which mostly stretched you out and warmed up the lower half. After 4 sets of those, you jumped right into power lunges. Can you say, “BURN!” I was toasted after my second set of lunges, especially the more Sagi made me increase my dumbbell weight.
After lunges, we dove into two squat moves, the Parallel Squat and the Bulgarian Squat, followed by deadlifts. Since my legs were toasted after the lunges, it didnt take much weight for me to feel the burn with these moves. Like the other workouts, the tempo of BODY BEAST is so fast, the blood has no time to leave the muscles. This causes a PUMP that you have never experienced before in your life! Love it!
We wrapped up our BODY BEAST leg workout calf raises. This was the cherry on top, no doubt about it. As I sit here and type this review, I cant flex my calves without them shaking! I’ve never had a vein in my calf, but now, in my left calf, I can see a vein about to pop through! Totally awesome.
