Before I begin with my review, for those of you who don’t know, Beachbody launched a new workout program called BODY BEAST that focuses on gaining mass and building muscle! The workout is lead by two-time Mr. Israel and fitness expert Sagi Kalev. Sagi is a professional body builder and definitely knows what it takes to build a BEAST body. If you are looking to add some serious mass, then BODY BEAST is the right workout for you!
BODY BEAST – Build: Shoulder Review:
Today I tested out my first ever BODY BEAST workout and all I am left to say is, “Wow!” I am absolutely blown away and highly impressed of the structure of this workout. Of course I am a big fan of P90X, especially since it was the first program I did to introduce me to this lifestyle, however, BODY BEAST definitely took it to a whole new level.
Shoulders are my favorite muscles to workout and I can usually lift some pretty heavy weight. During BODY BEAST’s shoulder routine, I notice that this was completely shocking my muscles, causing me to burnout extremely fast. Since the tempo of the workouts is so fast and you’re lifting some serious weight, the blood is constently forced into the muscles and the muscle pump is always there! The feeling of this is incredible!
By the end of the shoulder routine, I could barely do Sagi’s 6-way exercise with 10lb dumbbells. I can’t remember the last time I finished a workout shaking, literally. My shoulders were THROBBING! The blood fills the muscles and the pump is insane! I would say my first ever BODY BEAST workout was a huge success. I am addicted!
