Is Beachbody a Pyramid Scheme Scam

Is Beachbody Coaching a Scam?  Is Beachbody Coaching a Pyramid Scheme?

Beachbody Coach Scam or is there really an opportunity here?  That is a question a lot of people want to find out who are considering becoming  a Beachbody Coach. To be honest, when I became a Beachbody Coach myself, I was asking the same question.  I wanted to write an article about this opportunity and clear up any doubts of this being a scam.

First, What Exactly is a Beachbody Coach?:
Simply put, a Beachbody Coach is someone who runs a home based business to help other people get fit and healthy.  Most Beachbody Coaches have completed or will soon complete a Beachbody fitness program.  As a Coach, you use your own personal experiences and passion you have developed with these products to help motivate others to commit to the same fitness journey.   Beachbody Coaches represents the most-successful products on the market today, such as the various in-home fitness programs and nutritional products that the company Beachbody put outs (P90X, P90X2, Insanity, Turbo Jam, Shakeology etc.).

As a Coach you receive and instant 25% commissions on the products help people purchase, as well as bonuses for growing a team of Coaches who share the same common goals you do, which is to get fit and help others get fit. You also get various other bonuses and prizes for growing your business (cash bonuses, all-inclusive vacations, etc.).

Isn’t Beachbody Coaching a Pyramid Scheme?
Is Beachbody Coaching a Pyramid Scheme?  When people ask that, they typically don’t even know what a Pyramid Scheme is. First, a true pyramid scheme is 100% illegal. A pyramid scheme is where a “distributor” gets paid JUST to bring in new distributors and there is no product being exchanged. So if I got paid just to bring on new Coaches (and there was no physical product exchanged), then that would indeed be a pyramid scheme and would be illegal.

As a Beachbody Coach you don’t get paid just for bringing on new Coaches to your team. You only get paid for bringing on new Coaches if that Coach buys or sells product. You get rewarded when that Coach is actually doing something and working to help others and grow their business. Hmm, you know what’s interesting?  Doesn’t that sounds like every other business in the world???

Check out this picture of every corporate structure (to the right).  To be honest, I think THIS looks more like a Pyramid Scheme than Beachbody Coaching, dont you think?  Here is something to think about – think about your job, do you have a boss?  Then managers who report to the boss?  Then supervisors who report to the managers?  Then employees who do ALL the hard work to keep the business going day-in and day-out, however, make the least money out of everyone???

Many managers at the thousands of business around the U.S. get bonuses when their employees or their business center is doing well and growing. Also most companies give their employees referral bonuses JUST for referring new employees to the company who get hired. This is a simple way to motivate people within the company to work and to help grow the business. I don’t know about you, but if I’m growing my business and having success at it, I want to be rewarded and get paid for my efforts and hard work!

Can You Really Make Money as a Beachbody Coach?:
The simple answer to this question is…YES! But ultimately it depends on you! Since you are the owner and boss of your Beachbody Coaching Business, the matter of you succeeding or failing depends on YOU and YOUR efforts!  If you choose to commit to the opportunity and turn this into something, then you can easily earn a part-time income.  Choose to invest a little more effort into it, and you can be like me where I have no developed an additional Full-Time Salary for my family!   I was able to match and then beat my current Full-Time Job salary in less than seven months of becoming a Beachbody Coach!

If someone has told you that you are guaranteed to make money or that you’re going to make millions overnight as a Beachbody Coach, then I’m hear to tell you they are wrong. You may not make a dime as a Coach. Or you could be making a six figure income within a year. Or you may just make a few hundred dollars a month as a Coach. As I mentioned earlier, it depends on YOU!

Check out the picture of my just some of my Beachbody Coach Earnings (to the right).  These are WEEKLY COMMISSION CHECKS from my Beachbody Coaching Business.  Did these checks look like this overnight?  No way.  Did it take time, patience and hard work to accomplish this?  Hell yes!  But what if I told you that if you were to invest your time, your passion, your experiences, your efforts, your hard work for one, four, six, eight, ten months and promise you a significant income – would you put forth the efforts and time?  After seeing what this opportunity can lead to, I hope you agree that you would.  You judge, Beachbody Coach Scam or not?  I think NOT!

Two Negatives Of Being A Beachbody Coach:
1.)  It takes time and hard work to make money as a Coach. Just like any business that you start and anything in life, it does take time and hard work to make money as a Coach. Hopefully you understand that by now since I think I’ve really beat this point to death already!

2.)  There is a chance of failing.  But, just like any job out there, you always run the risk of failing or being let go. You might sign up to become a Coach and months and months go by and you may not make a dime – like I did!  I can speak confident when I say this based on my own previous experiences in my journey – if you don’t make a dime as a Coach, then the problem isn’t Beachbody, the problem is you! Clearly, you are not taking the right action and being consistent with those actions or you’re not following the training set out by Beachbody, or some combination of all the above.

Two Positives Of Being A Beachbody Coach:
1.)  Becoming a Beachbody Coach might just change your life- physically, financially, or both. For me, becoming a Beachbody Coach has not only changed me physically, but financially as well. As you can tell in my P90X transformation, Beachbody has obviously changed my life physically, but Im proud to say Beachbody has changed my life financially!  It has allow my wife and I to add secondary incomes to allow us to live financially free!  Without this opportunity, who knows where we would be.

2.)  You might just become a better person.  Waking up everyday knowing you have the opportunity to be a part of someone’s life changing journey and make a positive impact in someone’s life is a feeling I cant explain.  Its something you’ll have to experience for yourself to understand the full-effect.  Once you start helping people get healthy and helping people live happier, you will see the true fulfillment of becoming a Beachbody Coach.

How Much Does it Cost to Coach?:
When you decide to upgrade and become a Beachbody Coach, its a one-time fee of $39.95.  This pays for your Business Starter Kit, access to your Coach Online Back Office, 2 personal websites, etc. This fee is waived if you purchase one of the three Starter Packs (Shakeology Starter Pack, Shakeology Plus Fitness Starter Pack, or the Diamond Pack).

After your start-up fee to launch your Coaching Business, its simply $14.95/month. This covers the cost to keep your Online Back Office and your 2 personal websites updated and running. It also helps cover all of the other expenses Beachbody incurs- customer service, shipping, inventory, etc.

Remember, you’re motivator for your business is to earn enough to cover the costs.  Trust me, follow the trainings and use the resources given to you and you’ll find it simple to cover the cost and even start profiting from your business sooner than you think!

Wait?  There is a GUARANTEE for Coaches?:
Yup!  That’s right.  Just like ALL the Beachbody Products, there is a 30 DAY, 100% SATISFACTION, MONEY BACK GUARANTEE when you become a Beachbody Coach! (see the picture to the right).

What’s this mean?  Try Coaching for 30 days and see if it is a good fit for you, if its not, simply cancel your Coaching Account without a problem, receive your start-up fee back and continue life as you were!  I’d like to see other opportunities supply such a confident offer to their employees!  I think this fact alone shows that there is no such things as a Beachbody Coach Scam!
