Should I do P90X3 or Focus T25?
Are you having a hard time deciding whether you want to do Shaun T’s Focus T25 or Tony Horton’s P90X3? Well, to be honest, you’re going to see great results and you will love both workout programs; so you can’t go wrong. However, hopefully this blog clears up a little bit of Focus T25 vs. P90X3.
First, lets break down each workout program’s highlights…
What is P90X3?
THE MUSCLE ACCELERATION SYSTEM: Studies shows that the most dramatic body transformations happen in the first 30 minutes of exercise. Tony Horton took everything he’s proven with Muscle Confusion™ and Muscle Integration, and tailored new routines to take advantage of this science of shorter workouts. The MUSCLE ACCELERATION SYSTEM combines a highly-structured schedule with an incredibly high level of intensity and an unprecedented variety of moves that keeps every muscle challenged for the full 30 minutes.
Tony says, “I took everything I learned from P90X and P90X2—coupled it with new science that shows intense 30-minute workouts can get you in better shape faster—and slammed it all into overdrive. The result? Short, targeted, intense workouts that take just 30 minutes—but leave you looking like you’ve been tearing it up in the gym all day, every day.”
90 DAYS – 30 MINUTES A DAY: P90X3 is a 90-day extreme fitness program designed to get you ripped in just 30 minutes a day. Each one of the accelerated 30-minute workouts has been uniquely developed to produce the greatest physical change in your body, in the most efficient way.
In a nutshell, here are the quick highlights of P90X3
- 30 minutes a day
- 16 different workouts
- 4 bonus workouts
- 90 day program – (3) 30 day blocks
- Bonus Elite phase available
- Combination of strength and cardio but more strength focused
- Equipment not included (dumbbells, chin up bar, medicine/stability ball)
- Not a graduate program, P90x and P90x2 experience not required. This program is for all fitness levels.
What is Focus T25?
TIME IS IN YOUR FAVOR: What’s the number one excuse people have for not working out? TIME! I can’t tell you how many times I hear, “I want to workout, but I just don’t have the time!” Well now, you can’t have that excuse thanks to Shaun T! Check out FOCUS T25! The name implies the intent: If you focus your intensity for 25 minutes, and you do it 5 days a week, you WILL get results. How awesome is that?! Only 25 minutes a day, 5 days a week! Who can’t fit that in? If you are looking to get in shape and need a program that’s to the point, then FOCUS T25 is for you! All Shaun T is asking from you is to give 100% for 25 minutes and you will see results.
HOW FOCUS T25 WORKS: FOCUS T25 will be divided into two phases, with a bonus third phase available separately. The two phases that are included in FOCUS T25 are the ALPHA Phase and the BETA Phase (the GAMMA Phase sold separately). Each phase is designed to be 25 days long, again only 5 days a week and only 25 minutes per workout! Shaun T stresses that the workout will focus on all parts of the body just when you think your body can’t give anymore, the workout will shift and focus on a whole new muscle group! Sorry folks, but “TIME” will no longer be an excuse! This program means results as fast as possible!
Focus T25 Features:

Should I do Focus T25 or P90X3?
Well, depends what your goals are and what type of workouts you enjoy doing. Here are my personal recommendation to help you decide if you should try P90X3 or Focus T25.
If you are looking for a variety of short, explosive cardio training, looking to slim down and tighten up, and are attracted by more cardio over resistant training, then you should try Focus T25 with trainer Shaun T. Remember, if you are new to working out or feel you are not in tip-top shape quite yet, Focus T25 has a modifier in every workout you can follow. Click here for more information on Focus T25.
If you are looking for athletic agility training with the combination of strength training, looking to slim down and lean out or even add a little lean muscle mass while lowering your body fat, and you are attracted to resistance/strength training, then you should try P90X3 with trainer Tony Horton. Remember, P90X3 offers 4 different workout schedules, with 20 different workouts all under 30 minutes. Click here for more information on P90X3.
It’s a WIN-WIN honestly…
To be honest with you, both workouts will deliver! Both workouts will kick your butt and help you see some incredible results; and not take up your entire day. Since both workout’s HUGE selling point is that every workout is under 30 minutes, this will be extremely convenient for a lot of people who live a busy lifestyle… face it, which is all of us! Also, with both workouts being less than 30 minutes, you can combine these with your current workout schedules to boost results even more. Both workouts are a great choice, and you can’t go wrong!
Personally, my wife and I did Focus T25 and LOVED IT! Have you seen Lindsay’s Focus T25 Results yet? Absolutely LOVED the program! Now, we are going to commit to P90X3 since we miss having Tony Horton in our life! We are beyond excited to switch up the game and add some P90X3 in our regimen! Let’s ROCK!
